Getting your test results
If your test results show that you need more tests or treatment, we will contact you.
Once a doctor has reviewed your test results, you can view them:
- In your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App).
- Make a request using the AccuRx triage request form on the NHS app.
- Phone or visit us between 2pm to 6:30pm and we will tell you what the results are.
Questions about your results
If you want to talk to someone about your results, contact the reception team on 01254 919888 or use the online booking services to arrange an appointment.
Please bear in mind that most results will take several days to be processed and reported on (some may take longer). Radiology results (x-rays, ultrasounds, MRIs, CTs etc) can take up to ten working days before the report is ready.
If your investigations have been arranged by a Consultant at the hospital, the Practice will not always receive a copy. Please follow the instructions of your Consultant to obtain your results.
Please note that in accordance with confidentiality guidelines, results cannot be given to a third party without prior consent.
