Meet Angela Bennett! Our local representative for Carers Link. Carers Link is an independent registered charity, who’s aim is to support unpaid workers across East Lancashire. According to a 2011 census, there are around 42,000 carers in East Lancashire alone and every year, across the UK, carers save the NHS around £132 billion.
Carers play a vital role in the health and wellbeing of our community and often need just as much support as those they care for. At Sabden and Whalley Medical Group, we want to offer the best support for our carers we can.
The above photo was taken at our last COVID vaccination clinic on 29/04/23. Angela will also be attending our next vaccination clinic on 13/05/23, to offer advice and guidance to carers at our Practice.
